On these pages, you’ll find current work, my travels, random musings, and educational tips so settle in and stay tuned. Let’s pretend we’re all at the beach kicked back under a few massive palms.

Kathryn and Morgan live in Raleigh and wanted to find some natural, green spaces close to downtown for their engagement session. I’d been to Dorothea Dix Park before with some friends and knew it’d provide plenty of opportunity, but when we got there I was blown away with how empty the park was in March. We shot these on a cool Spring day just before everything popped into bloom, but these two are so magnetic to one another you can’t even tell.

Most of the weddings I photograph are in Southeast, but every now and again a couple comes along looking to switch it up and take the celebration overseas. In this case, Morgan and Jarrod dreamt up a ten day trip to Greece with their families and closest friends. We all met in Athens for a few days of ancient history, but soon hopped a plane to Santorini. Their quaint, but out-of-this-world, ceremony happened on a rooftop at the incredible Remezzo Villas overlooking Oia and the Aegean.

It was just a few years ago we were in Greece together where they got married overlooking one of Santorini’s best views.

This is just a very small preview of their session (I’m currently editing the rest) and few images from the next morning when Sabrina and I walked around, ate Hominy Grill for breakfast and soaked up as much sun as we could.

Nowadays, it’s become a popular […]

In 2017, I made my first trip to Puerto Rico with my sister and our friend Amanda. We went to celebrate Amanda’s 30th birthday and the only stipulations were that we had to be able to get to where we were going quickly and the location had to be new to all three of us.
