Kate + Matt’s Duke Mansion Wedding in Charlotte, NC

Matt and Kate have been together since high school and have been looking forward to this day for many many years, but when the Covid pandemic hit all was put in a limbo. As the year wore on it seemed safe enough to make it happen with the protocols of the venue and vendors so we decided to make the most of the special occasion. With a limited crowd of just their closest family and friends, they married at MYERS PARK UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, which is a beautiful church for a classic ceremony. For those of you reading this, please note that they have pretty strict photography rules during the ceremony (limited to the balcony) so it might not be ideal if up-close photos mean a lot to you. Personally, it’s definitely a downside, but to each their own. After the ceremony, we jumped in a bus for a quick five minute ride down the street to kick off the wedding reception at THE DUKE MANSION.
